Sinclair Rules 7&4 News; Concerned Citizens for Fair Broadcasting (CCFB) Engages Advertisers

Approximately 100 people attended the Concerned Citizens for Fair Broadcasting (CCFB) press conference and rally in Traverse City, Michigan, on May 16, 2018. After the event, members of CCFB developed a strategy to form AD teams to meet with advertisers. Our AD teams are now out in the field talking to Sinclair TV 7&4 News advertisers. CCFB believes that advertisers can play a pivotal, strategic role working together with community members to resolve this issue. Our goal is to invite these advertisers to join with us as community members to keep our news local. At the expense of health care, public education and nutrition programs, Congressman Jack Bergman supported adding to the massively bloated defense budget (HR.695) that was previously equal to China, Russia and the next 3 Nations combined. His support of tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy (HR.1), slashing consumer protections (HR.10, HJR.111), adding $1.5 Trillion to the deficit has no benefit to the vast majority of his constituents. Meredith Fritz from Moms Demand Action (MDA) spoke to members of Indivisible TC, on Sunday, May 20th, at Horizon Bookstore. The MDA is part of Every Town for Gun Safety. She announced that there will be an action event at the Right Brain Brewery on Saturday June 2nd at 12:30 – 2:30.
