Steve Horne is running for the District 4 seat. Steve and his wife live in Green Lake Township. Steve spent his career with Ford Motor and implementing strategic vision at national universities before relocating to Grand Traverse County. “I’ve spent my life developing consensus and implementing plans to tackle serious problems -- I see that as a valuable skill set to bring to the Commission,” said Steve. "Our county is one of the fastest growing in the state, but our roads need work, our pension plan is seriously underfunded and we have had a stream of County employees leaving. We can do better.
