NoMi Neighbors Network Know Your Rights Training

We hope you'll join our friends NoMi Neighbor Network for a "Know Your Rights" training, which focuses on preparing community members to act as peaceful, faithful witnesses when actions are taken against our immigrant neighbors. Let's help build our collective readiness to protect and support one another! Let's gain new knowledge for our resource toolbox and the confidence to effectively and safely act as a peaceful witness!

🗓️ When: Thursday, July 31st - 6:30-8:30pm

📍 Where: UUCGT 6726 Center Road Traverse City, MI 49686

👥 Who: Community members that want to understand their rights and be prepared to act as a peaceful faithful witness in support of their neighbors.

🧠 What: This "Know Your Rights" training will prepare community members to know their rights as peaceful faithful witnesses when actions are taken against our immigrant neighbors. We will prepare and practice what it looks like to act in solidarity - even while we are going about our daily lives - so we are prepared if and when we witness ICE enforcement activity. Participants will leave the training with new knowledge and tools to effectively and safely act as peaceful witnesses.
