We are raising money to support the sign-making station we’re hosting and to purchase American flags to hand out during the demonstration. Every dollar helps us make this a powerful and joyful event!

Why June 14?
June 14 is a Saturday.
June 14 is Flag Day.
June 14 is Donald Trump’s birthday.
June 14 is the day that Trump plans to have a big military parade, Soviet Union-style, ostensibly to mark the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, but in reality he’ll see it as a way to glorify himself and his regime.
We will not stand for Trump’s desecration of our flag, of our institutions, of our country!
***A core principle behind all Traverse Indivisible & Leelanau Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
