To Elect Officers for 2027-28

Dear Fellow Democrats,

A Grand Traverse County Convention and officer selection meeting will convene on Saturday, November 21, at 10 am. 

Registration will begin at 10 am and continue until 10:15 am.

The purpose of our County Convention shall be to elect the following officers of the Grand Traverse County Democratic Committee (AKA Grand Traverse Democrats):

• Chair

• Vice Chair (must be of different gender identity from Chair per Michigan Law)

• Treasurer

• Secretary 

• Communications Officer

Any Democrat may attend the County Convention, but voting delegates must meet the following requirements: To vote in our County Convention, one must be either a Precinct Delegate, a Democratic nominee for County and Legislative offices as set forth in section 3.2.2 of the MDP bylaws, or a member of both Grand Traverse Democrats and the Michigan Democratic Party who reside in the county and whose membership was renewed prior to the County Convention.
