Attendance is open, subject to the discretion of the Chair, to anyone with an interest in supporting the party. Voting qualifications are as follows:
In order to hold Party office or vote at any convention, caucus or meeting at any unit of the Michigan Democratic Party at any level, a person must be a member of the Michigan Democratic Party for at least 30 days prior to the convention, caucus or meeting. A Party member must be a qualified elector in order to vote on nominations for public office.
Precinct Delegates, Democratic elected officials and Democratic nominees to partisan offices are exempt from the 30-day advance membership requirement. However, Precinct Delegates, Democratic elected officials and Democratic nominees must be a member in order to vote. They may join on the day of the convention, caucus or meeting.

B. Election of Permanent Convention Chair
(This is the person who will chair the convention)
C. Appointment of Convention Secretary
(This will be the official record-keeper of the convention. This person also will be responsible for sending minutes and results to the State Party)
D. Credential Report
(This is a report of all credentialed delegates for the convention)
E. Rules Report
(This will be the time to review and accept voting procedure for the convention)
F. Election of a Female Delegate to the Michigan Democratic Party (MDP) Rules Committee. (Note: this is per the allocation assigned by the MDP. The allocations document from the MDP can be downloaded HERE)
G. Nomination & Election of new Executive Board members if applicable
H. Nomination & Election of new Precinct Delegates if applicable
I. Consideration of any resolutions submitted on the resolution form to the party chair at chair@gtdems.org by Feb 15, 2020. The document can be downloaded in .doc form HERE.
