In February 2016, GT Democrats will host two training

sessions for existing, new, and potential Precinct Delegates.

The sessions will be the same, choose one or the other, you

won't need to attend both.

The training sessions will cover such topics as basic

information about precincts, distributing precinct lists,

providing schedules for important dates in the 2016 election

season, information about absentee voting, strategies and

sample scripts to meet and greet Democrats in your 

precinct, and other information.

These training sessions will be facilitated by Betsy Coffia and 

Lee Hornberger, two Grand Traverse Democrats with

extensive experience as delegates and candidates.

Training session participants will also have a chance to meet

other delegates, ask questions, and share ideas with fellow 

delegates and potential delegates.

The sessions will be on Tuesday, February 16, from 6 to 8 pm  (pizza dinner provided), and on Saturday, February 20, from 11 am to 1 pm  (deli sandwiches provided).

 

The sessions will take place at the Michigan Education Association (MEA) offices located at 1745 Barlow Street, Traverse City.
